"Y-ett"

SIRBLU'S WHY NOT Y-ETT

April 24, 1995 - 12/26/2006
This is the hardest thing I have ever had to write.
Because writing it down somehow brings with it a sense of finality that I really don't want to admit.
Y-ett (pronounced Wyatt) was a true gentleman his entire life.
He loved every animal and person he ever met regardless of their species.
He was handsome, intelligent and ever so soft.
My most favorite picture is the one below. I call it the 10 & 10.
It is Y-ett at 10 months old with his favorite handler, Amanda, at 10 years old.

Y-ett and Amanda

But, his show career was cut short when an undiagnosed hairline fracture he apparently
received at 4 months of age while playing with his brother  was not discovered until he
was nearly 14 months old. The resulting surgery to remove the broken piece from his wrist
left him with an ever so slight but permanent limp. However this did not hinder Y-ett from
doing what he loved the best. And that was going through the backyard and opening every
other dog's kennel gate to let them all out and once he finished this task he would then
open the side gate so everyone could play in the front yard.
He could open any gate and any door that was not locked.

Y-ett went on to father and grandfather many Champions from coast to coast.

He celebrated his 11th birthday in April of 2006 and nearly made it to his 12th.
He was never sick a day in his life
until Father Time decided to claim him.

The following picture was taken the morning of 12/26/06 - Just before the Vet arrived.

He was loved by many and is Greatly missed,
Judi Murdock and the SirBlu family.
